EduKids Flat Bush

EduKids Flat Bush is located on the corner of Arranmore Drive and Flat Bush School Road, across from the delightful Texture café. Our early childhood centre has been operating for the past five years and has grown with our community. The strong teaching team here at EduKids Flat Bush has passion for children, learning, teaching and partnership, ensuring to support and grow your child/ren through their next stages in learning and development.

ERO has rated EduKids Flat Bush in the top 7% of New Zealand childcare centres providing positive learning outcomes for children.

Our Pepe room and the teaching team provide an environment with a feeling of home away from home and see themselves as careers who are responsive to their infant’s and toddler’s needs. Nurturing those care moments is what sets this room off from other centres within our area. The Pepe room has a large play area which is set up to provide endless opportunities for our infants and young toddlers to grow into capable older toddlers.

Our Koru room is tailored to cater for children aged 2-3yrs and has a small Harmonies room with a large interactive outdoor environment. There is a great range of equipment specifically set up to get the most out of the individual age groups. Children in this room are encouraged to make choices and be the driver of their learning while being supported within a nurtured primary care group.

We have two interactive preschool rooms which cater for both full time children and sessional. This area is made up of two large inclusive environments which are packed with endless learning opportunities to further extend our growing three to five-year-old children. Our Be School Ready initiative is nurtured from the time they start with us and is established through the relationships that they form and building on their confidence in early literacy and numeracy which is embedded throughout the whole centre. We are fortunate enough to have also built on our partnership with our local primary school, Ormiston Primary, to ensure we can create a strong and positive transition to school.

EduKids Flat Bush prides itself in being an open interactive centre where our children and families know they have a place to belong, so that transition between home, rooms and school is done in partnership and at a pace that is comfortable for all. Our centre, families, children and team, build a warm, safe and caring environment which nurtures relationships. Our teachers are confident at identifying children’s learning dispositions and providing meaningful learning outcomes to extend and support the current interests that are emerging.
