Community Kindy Portage Road childcare centre has children 2 to 5 year olds. Our childcare centre is situated on the border of Otahuhu and Mt Wellington with an outdoor environment that overlooks the lovely Mt Richmond Park. This offers the children many opportunities for nature walks and other community based excursions.

We focus on providing the absolute best quality childcare and education for children in the greater Otahuhu area. Our beautifully resourced rooms boast the latest resources, designed to support your child’s learning and development.

Our centre has a home-like atmosphere that encourages the children and their families to feel welcome, respected and a part of our learning community. The centre has a Community Room which will host various community agencies including, Plunket B4 School checks, fitness classes and many more to be confirmed.

Our centre offers an inspiring, natural learning space where children have the freedom and opportunities to create, explore, investigate, develop ideas, make friends and become lifelong learners. We have a dedicated team who are focused on providing quality child care and education. Our diverse teaching team brings their own passion and energy in different ways each and every day.

We are fortunate that we provide care for and work with families from a multicultural, diverse community. We believe that our partnerships with families/whanau and community form the solid foundation which sets our children up for a lifelong love of learning.
