Community Kindy Papakura East
Community Kindy Papakura East is an inspiring learning space where children have the freedom and opportunities to create, explore, investigate, develop ideas, make friends and become life long learners. Our rich environment inspires natural curiosity amongst the children which encourages them to explore and extend their learning.
We are situated in a quiet cul-de-sac in the heart of Red Hill in Papakura, just off Clevedon Road but in very close proximity to Ardmore, Hunua and Alfriston.
Our focus is on providing quality childcare and education for children in the greater Papakura area. Our centre has a home-like atmosphere that encourages the children and their families to feel welcome, respected and a part of our learning community. Our community feel is extended through relationships with the Papakura Marae, interest based trips, walks and so much more.
Children are provided with nutritious morning and afternoon teas, as well as lunch for those who are with us through the lunch period.
Our unique Be School Ready initiative prepares children for school and their next stage of learning through innovative activities that cater for small groups and individuals. Our learning programmes promote self-help, social skills and a sense of belonging through interest based investigations. We cater for children between the ages of 2 years to 6 years. Our sessions support 20 ECE hours and cater for most families. Our session times are 8.00am–12.00pm and 12.30pm–4.30pm, Monday to Friday.
