Community Kindy Jones is a quality childcare centre, located near the hospital and Melville Park. Local schools in the area are Deanwell, Glenview, Melville and Hamilton West.

We have a special relationship with local businesses and organisations such as the supermarket, community library, and home for the elderly. Our home-like centre environment has a wonderful outdoor area with lots of space to play and learn. A range of animals are a big part of centre life. Children are supported to develop theories about the living world and knowledge of how to care for it.

We have a caring friendly team of qualified teachers who are all passionate about children and early childhood learning. We strive to provide an educational environment that promotes biculturalism and respects all ethnic groups. Children are encouraged to form relationships based on respect and positive social interaction with others.

Our programme offers children opportunities to actively engage in and make independent decisions about their own learning. Children’s strengths are focused on, curiosity is stimulated and individual interests are extended. Children’s sense of well-being and belonging are nurtured so that all children know they have a place here. Families are encouraged to be active participants in centre life and their child’s learning and we value all contributions to the programme.
