Best Start Wainoni (formerly EduKids Wainoni) early learning centre offers quality care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years old. Conveniently located near Avondale and Aranui, we provide nutritious meals prepared on site each day.

Our centre is a warm, welcoming, fun filled environment for children, staff, families and whanau, creating a sense of belonging and wellbeing for all. We are a multicultural centre that empowers children to explore their own and other cultures within the community.

Our teaching team - We have a team of qualified, experienced and caring teachers who extend every child’s learning and development. The team provides fun, stimulating and age appropriate activities for children of all ages and stages that reflects their current interests. Our staff have a passion for providing a stable, caring and nurturing environment. We have very positive and communitive relationships with our parents and whanau.

Learning spaces - We have four separate classrooms catering to children as they learn and grow. We also have a gym where children enhance their physical skills and have fun. We take pride in providing a natural environment which caters for the needs and interests and abilities for all children.

Nursery - Our Nursery caters for children from 3 months to 2 years old. Babies are supported with their emotional needs, physical development and well being as they grow and learn in our nurturing environment.

Toddlers - Our busy Toddlers Room caters for children from 2 to 3 years old, offering a wide range of activities to support their development in all areas, from music, drama, art, physical play to many other exciting adventures.

Preschool and Prep School - Our Preschool and Prep School Rooms cater for children aged from 3 to 5 years old. Both rooms provide thorough preparation for school to ensure your child is confident and capable when they start the next stage of their learning journey. Our teacher’s support independence and self-help skills which is a great step to their journey to school.
