BestStart Onehunga is a beautiful childcare centre near the suburbs of One Tree Hill, Royal Oak and Onehunga. We provide a home-like environment based on respect and strive to develop a sense of belonging for our children. We have a multicultural and talented team of teachers who ensure that our children learn and understand about different cultures. We encourage children to value and respect each other’s differences while promoting the development of a positive self-esteem.

We provide a safe physical, emotional and holistic environment, which allows our children to develop self-confidence, as well as gross motor skills. We believe children learn through free play and encourage them to explore their surroundings and take control of their own learning.
