BestStart Melling

BestStart Melling early learning centre is located within an exciting hub of a business community, that provides us with many opportunities to gain valuable learning by using our neighbours as an extension of our centre. We are within walking distance to many fabulous resources within Lower Hutt – the library, DOWSE art gallery, train station and some great cafes for a fluffy!

Our culturally-diverse team of teachers have worked together for many years at our previous Early Years Connolly Street centre and are loving having a new purpose-built learning environment, with the latest resources for children to benefit from. We also look forward to welcoming new members to our teaching team as our centre grows. It’s exciting for our families and children to share this move with us and to welcome the new children and families who join us once we are open in our new centre.

We have our own dedicated centre cook who prepares healthy and delicious  morning and afternoon teas and a lunch each day for the children, in line with Healthy Heart menu recommendations. Individual dietary requirements are catered for.
