BestStart Dublin Street has a wonderful, warm, family-focused environment. Whether you require a caring and nurturing centre for toddlers or a challenging Be School Ready initiative for pre-school aged children, BestStart Dublin Street can meet you and your family’s needs. We are located behind popular St Joseph’s School and just off Seddon Street.

With two separate buildings that are age appropriate, the centre provides plenty of opportunities for children to learn, socialise and develop important skills and competencies that enable them to be lifelong learners.

Our centre is focused on providing the best quality childcare and education and is convenient to those living in Pukekohe or the greater Franklin and Waikato districts. Going the extra mile, the centre has swimming lessons with Franklin Pool and Leisure in partnership with parents which is furthering extending the children’s educational experience.

The team at BestStart Dublin Street inspire children to develop a love of learning by providing educationally stimulating environments where children are able to express and question ideas and theories. We believe in working alongside family and whānau to extend children’s learning capabilities, cultural participation and social interactions. Through working together, we are able to share our wisdom, experiences, cultural values and knowledge of the children in our care.

The home-like atmosphere in Small World (our infant and toddler room) provides a relaxing and calm environment for your children to gain confidence and independence while feeling very supported and cared for by a fantastic teaching team. Catering for only 25 children, this is an ideal way for children to begin their childcare experience.

The teachers create an ambient learning environment where the atmosphere is warm, caring, resourceful and safe, ensuring our youngest children are best placed to learn, grow and develop.

The Little Taniwha room (our pre-school room) supports our unique Be School Ready initiative. With plenty of room for everyone, the centre has curriculum areas that are set up to inspire children to consider and develop skills and understanding in early literacy, maths and other age appropriate concepts.

The huge outdoor area in Little Taniwha caters for those explorers who enjoy lots of fresh air. We have a grand old tree, gardening, climbing equipment and plenty of room for bikes and other stimulating equipment.

We look forward to meeting you, please feel free to visit any time.

BestStart Dublin Street

kind words from our parents

Parent

Our daughter has absolutely flourished at ABC Pukekohe. In July we made another great decision and enrolled our two year old there as well. I was nervous sending her so young. She is a very different child to her big sister but has also flourished. I have had a rough pregnancy, and the support from the amazing teachers for our family during this challenging time has been invaluable. Not only have they given our girls a fun and loving place to learn and grow they gave me so much moral support.
